Role Description

The Global Head of Health and Wellness Development is responsible to actively develop and recognize Health and Wellness concepts for the whole brand globally.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the brand Wellness vision, concept, strategy, and program with the Head of Brand and Marketing team while leading the implementation of that strategy
Drive all wellness development projects including renovations and new openings
Create wellness development concepts, project overviews, and prepare financial projections
Identifying opportunities and develop solutions in enhancing the financial performance of wellness initiatives in the portfolio
Develop layout drawings while coordinating with various architects and designers
Collaborate with owner project team, Aman design team, technical team, and architect design office team
Create the brand guideline book for design and technical procedures along with the technical team
Selection of equipment and programs for the development or renovation of future projects
Create an equipment overview and plan
Monitor project implementations
Be involved in pre-opening set-ups
Lead the wellness business growth and development
Responsible to staying up to date on the latest trends and market developments in wellness, health, fitness, spa, and longevity
Develop and build strong relationships with relevant stakeholders, third parties, and vendors
Working closely with corporate and property teams to implement our Wellness strategy and vision to our employees

Role Requirements

5+ years’ experience in luxury Spa and Wellness in a global role
Educational background in Health or Wellness
Prior hand on operational experience in Spa and Wellness
Experience working in the Hospitality industry
Fluency in English and Japanese
Strong strategical and analytical mindset
Can deliver key strategical projects from start to finish
